Q: Is there a bus to...?

     ...'e /'a otobüs bulunur mu?

To show directions -e or -a are added to the end of names of places according to the Vowel Harmony Rule. These suffixes are used instead of to in English. They are separated by an apostrophe when added to the end of private names. The suffixes -den and -dan are used instead of from according to Vowel Harmony Rule.

     İstanbul Boğazın'a otobüs bulunur mu?

     Yeşilköy'e otobüs nereden kalkar?

Q: Where can I buy tickets? On the bus?

     Biletleri nereden alabilirim? Otobüste mi?

A: You can buy them from the ticket offices at the main bus stops.

    Biletleri ana duraklardaki gişelerden alabilirsiniz.

Q: How much does it cost to Taksim?

     Taksim'e ne kadar tutar? 

A:  İt is seven hundered and fifty Liras.

    Yediyüz elli bin Lira.

Q: How often are the buses to Hisar?

     Hisar'a hangi sıklıkta otobüs kalkar?

A: Every half an hour.

    Her yarım saate bir.

Q: How many hours does it take from Taksim to Yeşilköy?

     Taksim'den  Yeşilköy'e ne kadar zamanda gidilir?

A: Please tell me when to get off.

     Lütfen ne zaman ineceğimi bana söyleyin.
